Random Happenings

We have had a busy last month in the Howell House. It seems every weekend is filled with lots of fun and excitement. Here are some recent photos of my little man.

Caleb and I went home to see my parents in May. It had been a while since we had been home and we had a good weekend.

Here is Caleb playing in his kitchen cabinet in my mom's kitchen. He was consistently making a mess and "making" us things to eat.

Grandpa tied Caleb into a pretzel one night and put him into a bowl.
Grandma recently bought Caleb his first pair of Crocs. He has worn them almost every day since he got them. I like them because they are easy to slip back on when he takes them off ... and he LOVES to take off his shoes.

One night over Memorial Day weekend, we all went to the lakehouse to spend time with the Howell Family. It was a lot of fun to spend some time with my favorite niece. He is growing up too fast.

Caleb & Micah

Caleb loved Micah's toy dinosaur. They rode it together and laughed and smiled.

We went shopping at the outlet center near the lakehouse. Caleb "had" to ride in this car, so we gave him a passenger.

Caleb sometimes forgets his is a big boy. He still likes to get his Bumbo out and sit in it. He usually realizes that he is too big but he still asks for me to get it down out of his closet.

While at one of the local malls, Caleb was bribed to eat his lunch and then he got to ride the carousel. He loved every minute and Daddy loved it too.

I was impressed by Caleb's pizza eating skills. I don't think even I could eat this much.

Caleb knows that shopping at Target is one of my favorite things to do. He has learned to lay back and relax while out shopping with Momma.

Back in March, Grandma bought Caleb a lasso at the Houston Rodeo. He still loves to lasso things. The other night, Daddy lassoed Caleb.

Cute Hiney Photo

This is a hydrangea from the plant my mother-in-law gave me when I was in the hospital having Caleb (2+ yrs ago). I am QUITE impressed with myself that the plant is still making flowers and I haven't killed it.
