Merry Morina Christmas

The day after Christmas we loaded up the car and headed South to Pearland for a Merry Morina Christmas. We had a great time with my side of the family and Caleb enjoyed a second Christmas.
Caleb wanted to hold Lexi on the drive down.
I allowed him to hold her for one minute (she was not happy)

One of my sorority sisters from college has a business that makes a lot of cute monogrammed outfits. I bought Caleb this shirt which he proceeded to get dirty before I could get a picture

Christmas Morning (actually Dec 27th)

(even Lexi was included this time)

Caleb wanted to help everyone open presents. Grandpa let him help

Look closely and you can see Caleb working hard and sticking his tongue out

Oops! Santa left his sack of toys!
I guess Caleb will just have to play with all the toys himself

Caleb got his very own cooking set for Christmas

Aunt Bubba & Funcle Matt

Caleb was SO excited for all the presents

Mommy got a new scarf and sweater jacket

Attack of Caleb

Mommy was showing Caleb how to work his toy

It might be weird - but I love getting new heads for my electric toothbrush. They are expensive and Santa always comes through with replacement heads in my stocking.

Caleb's social life is about to get really complicated, so he got a cell phone for Christmas

It wouldn't be Christmas without some stylish clothes

The Aftermath

After all the gifts were opened and we were all sitting around talking and playing with our new toys, I looked over and this is what I found
Nice hand placement Caleb!!!

On the front stairs at my parents house, my Mom has set out all these musical animals. Caleb LOVED sitting on the stairs and pushing all the buttons so they would sing and dance.

My mom still has lots of confetti sticks left over from my little sisters wedding in August. So before we left to go back home to Dallas, my mom gave Caleb a couple confetti sticks to play with. He LOVED them.
(not to worry - the confetti is biodegradable)

And THAT is another successful Christmas season from the Howell/Morina crew
