Memorial Day Weekend

First I have to say a big Thank You to all the men and women who serve our country. Our American Flag was flying all day on Monday in honor of you.

It was a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. The weekend started off on Friday afternoon as we drove out of town and headed to the Howell Family Lake House. We spent Friday & Saturday with Nana, Papa, Unc Unc (Uncle Barrett), and Aunt Amy. We had a great time enjoying the sun, lake, and each others company. We are so blessed to have such a great family.

Caleb got this little calculator from his Uncle Matt. On the way home from the lake he put it to his ear and wanted to call Uncle Matt.

We drove home from the lake on Sunday morning. It was such a beautiful day that Caleb and I went for a little walk down the street.

Caleb is seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Happy Boy

Can you guess what Caleb is pointing at?
First hint ... it is in our front yard

If you guessed his swing, you would be correct

Caleb was trying to help me open the blinds in our bedroom
What a big helper he is

Oops!
Caleb is upside down

Caleb got to ride in the big kid cart at Whole Foods.
He drove us all around the store

Monday was a very fun day for Caleb. We ran errands most of the day. Then after the heat of the afternoon sun, we ventured over to Papa & Nana's for some much need pool time fun. Caleb had a great time splashing and playing in the pool.

"When can we go outside?"

After swim time, Caleb walked around the pool surveying everything

Then it was time to change out of our wet bathing suits.

OOPS!
Someone forgot their diaper & shorts

After swimming at Papa & Nana's we had one tired little boy
