Braden's 10 Year Reunion

This past weekend was Braden's 10 Year High School Reunion (Go Hornets!). Braden attended Greenhill for 13 years (kindergarten thru 12th grade) so he has lots of fond memories.

Friday night was the alumni cookout and happy hour. Braden had a great time showing off Caleb and seeing old teachers and staff of the school. The actual reunion was on Saturday night. Braden was the official Reunion Planner and did a great job. There was a good percentage of his classmates who showed up for Sangria & Tapas at Cafe Madrid. I got to meet a lot of Braden's old friends and hear lots of great stories. I am so proud of Braden for planning and executing a fun evening.

Most mornings when I am getting ready for work, I bring Caleb's bouncy seat into the bathroom so we can talk and play as I get ready.

The other morning I stepped into the closet to get my clothes, and this is what I found when I came back ....

Well, I am a day late posting Caleb's 7 Month Update. But, I have been sick so it has been difficult to get on the computer to blog.

Caleb at 7 Months:
~ Wears 6-9 month size clothes
~ Wear size 2-3 diapers
~ Sleeps through the night (FINALLY!)
~ Only has two, perfect teeth (but still no more)
~ Drools a lot (so we are hoping for some more teeth soon)
~ Loves to go out and socialize
~ Loves to people watch when we go out
~ Can sit up by himself
~ Rolls anywhere he needs to go - no crawling yet but I am sure it will be sooner than I am ready for
~ Loves to splish splash in the tub
~ Adores his daddy so much - he laughs and smiles when Braden walks into the room
~ Intrigued by Lexi (dog) but still can't seem to catch her

This morning when I got Caleb out of his crib, his diaper had leaked a little bit onto his pajamas. I wasn't ready to get him ready for school yet so I put him in his cute, little bathrobe.
Seriously, he is the cutest baby in the world. I love him SO much.

My Pumpkin Visits the Pumpkin Patch

The weather in Dallas this past weekend was GORGEOUS. We took advantage of the nice weather and went to the Pumpkin Patch at the Dallas Arboretum. Caleb coorperated for a while before getting tired of smiling and getting his photo taken.
Caleb is just too cute so we took a lot of pictures (with a couple wardrobe changes).

Caleb has been practicing sitting up. He is getting stronger and better at it every day.

Working for Neiman Marcus has its perks. One of which is that I get to buy my little baby boy a few designer clothes at a discount.
I have been looking forward to it getting cool out so I could put Caleb in this Juicy Couture track suit. I am just so happy he has not outgrown the outfit before I could put him in it.

Happy Birthday Matt

Today is "Uncle" Matt's birthday. We hope he has a very special day.

"Uncle" Matt is my little sister, Jessica's, boyfriend. We keep calling him "uncle" in hopes that one day he will marry Jessica and be part of the family (officially).

Dinner With Friends

Last night we went out to dinner with our friends Ashley, Tripp, & Maddie. I tried to get a picture of Caleb & Maddie but they were both moving around so much so the picture turned out blurry.

Texas State Fair

It was a busy weekend at the Howell house.

Friday night we went out to dinner to celebrate (once again) Braden's birthday. I had bought him a Boston Creme Cake last weekend to celebrate his birthday but there was not any left by Wednesday on his actual birthday. So, Braden decided he needed another birthday dessert to celebrate. Caleb, Braden, and I went to Grand Luxe at the galleria for dinner and a yummy dessert.

Saturday we bundled Caleb up and all went to the Texas State Fair. It was a lot of fun and I think Caleb really loved being outside. He loves to people watch and there were more than enough people to watch at the Fair.

Braden decided in order to save a couple bucks and not have to fight traffic, we would take the Dart Train to the fair.

Sunday night the Indianapolis Colts were playing. It just so happens that a couple of friends have bought Braden & Caleb matching jerseys. The boys put on the jerseys to cheer on the team and their favorite Colts player, Peyton Manning
