Weekend of Firsts

It was a great, relaxing weekend for the Howell Trio.
Friday we had dinner at our friends (Katie & Sam) house.
Saturday we hung out with the in-laws.
Sunday we went to church, had lunch with some friends, then ran the normal Sunday afternoon errands.
The weekend went by so fast but we tried to enjoy it while it lasted.

We also had a weekend of some firsts.

#1) Braden put together Caleb's jumping gym. He is still a little bit too small so he mostly leaned on the side and pushed the buttons. But, I think he enjoyed the new toy. Look at my big boy standing and jumping and playing.

#2) Caleb had baby rice cereal for the first time. It was a successful adventure. He seemed to enjoy the new food and didn't spit too much out. We will continue to work on feeding him cereal on a daily basis (and add fruits & veggies once he masters the cereal).

Saturday evening Caleb was starting to get a little fussy. Grandpa B jumped in and took Caleb on a little walk outside to help him calm down. This is where I found the Howell men.
The park across from our house
Caleb loves being outside and Grandpa B loves taking him on walks.

Caleb's Great-Grandmother made him these towels.
We love the towels and I tell Caleb all about his Great-Grandmother every time we use them.

Tired Mommy & Caleb

Caleb loves to chew on his Sophie Giraffe when his teeth start bothering him

Being Caleb's Mom has been the best job I have ever had. I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to spend my life with the sweetest, cutest, best baby in the world. I look forward to watching him grow and change and mature into a big, strong young man.

I LOVE YOU CALEB BABY
