Messy Boy

Caleb is a true boy.
A friend of mine, Robin, had bought Caleb these adorable, silver shoes before he was even born. I have been trying them on Caleb for quite some time and finally, they fit. So, I left Caleb in the living room to go grab the camera and came back to this mess.

CUTE SHOES!
I love to play with cards

And eat cards

My Sweet Baby Boy

Crawling all over the house

Sleeping in his new car seat

BATH TIME

Where does the time go??

Where did the last 11 months go?? I can not believe my little monkey is 11 months old already. It was just yesterday that I was laying in the hospital bed cuddling with my little bundle of joy. Now I only get to cuddle with Caleb when it is bed time.
Caleb is moving and grooving these days. He does not sit still for very long. He loves to walk laps around the coffee table and crawl at lightning speeds. We have passed the day that I could leave him for a minute to run into the other room. As soon as I turn my back, Caleb is into something he shouldn't be in. The sad (but also happy) news is that Caleb is on the verge of walking. He will walk holding onto your finger and he will stand without holding onto anything but he has not braved the first step without holding on. But, I have a feeling he will be a walking man by his 1st Birthday.
Each day brings a new adventure into our house. Life is never boring and Caleb is changing so much each day.

Wagon Rides, Snow Falling, & Walking Shoes

Last week it was finally warm enough to use our wagon. The whole family took a walk around the block.
Caleb had a lot of fun!

I love this picture because you can see how Caleb's hair is starting to curl and get unmanageable.
SO CUTE!

As you can see from my last post, we got snow in Dallas recently. Don't worry, it was a short lived adventure. Here on Thursday - Gone by Monday.
We were without power for over 84 hours. It was MISERABLE!

Lexi was NOT happy to be in the snow

Caleb has fat little feet so I have had a hard time finding shoes that fit him and stay on all day. So, last weekend (with advice from a friend) I went on a mission to find Stride Rite shoes for Caleb. These are his new "kicks"

Look at Caleb's new shoes!!

Caleb has learned to Clap Clap Clap

This is not a great picture but I thought Caleb's expression was funny

Snow in Dallas

I woke up this morning to a front yard full of snow. It is really pretty and falling like crazy. I am hoping to get Caleb home, dressed, and in the snow for a few minutes of play time. It should be a fun experience to watch Caleb in the snow for the first time.

I'm Going to be an Aunt

Amy and Barrett (Braden's older brother) are pregnant and due in August. I am so excited to welcome another bundle of joy into our family. Baby Howell is a blessing and will bring more love to the family.
Caleb is really excited to be a big cousin.
I can not wait to find out (in March) if I will be getting a niece or nephew. Either way, I pray for a happy, healthy baby.

Congratulations again Amy & Barrett - I am very happy for you.
