Happy Mother's Day

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

to all my friends and family who have the joy of being a mother on this special day.

This is a poem I found that I wanted to share:

"How did you find the energy, Mom

To do all the things you did,

To be a teacher, nurse, and counselor

To me, when I was a kid.

How did you do it all, Mom,

Be a chauffeur, cook and friend,

Yet find time to be a playmate,

I just can't comprehend.

I see now it was love, Mom

That made you come whenever I'd call,

Your inexhaustible love, Mom

And I thank you for it all."

I am blessed to have many Mom's in my life. I strive to be the best Mom I can be and have great examples to follow. Happy Mother's Day Mom, Mom-In-Law, Grandmother, & Amy.

Caleb has BIG News

This Little Monkey Has a BIG Secret

I'm Going To Be a BIG BROTHER

I just thought this was a cute picture of my silly little boy. He was making faces while I was trying to snap a photo. I had to eventually bribe him with a treat

I am due at the end of October so we have less than 6 months to go. It has still not quite hit me that I am going to be a Mom of two. I am still dealing with the fact that my baby is 2 years old and running around like crazy. I just don't remember when he grew up to be such a big boy. I was reminiscing with Braden last night with pictures of Caleb when he was an infant.

We would appreciate continued prayers for

Easter 2011

Easter 2011 was spent in Dallas with lots of Howell Family. We went to church and then went to my in laws house for lunch and play time. Caleb had a blast hunting Easter Eggs, playing with his cousin, eating lots of Easter candy, and playing in the pool. It was a wonderful day spent with family and friends.

Caleb before church.

He is calling Grandma on his play cell phone to thank her for his Easter outfit.

Nana had this cute Easter bunny at her house that we took LOTS of pictures of the kids in front of.

Caleb loves to kiss on Micah

Easter Family Photo

Caleb got a fishing hat and gear from the Easter Bunny (Nana/Papa)

The Easter Bunny (Braden & I) hid eggs in Nana & Papa's backyard for Caleb to find. He had a great time searching for his eggs.

Easter was also Nana's birthday. She got a new handbag from the family.

But Caleb got all the credit

After lunch Caleb and Micah splashed in the pool for a while

Caleb got REALLY wet. You can't see it really clearly here but his diaper is SO wet it is sagging down to his knees.

On the way home, Caleb passed out from exhaustion.

Family Day At The Park

Sorry it has been a while since I have updated the blog. It has been busy in our household and we are finally getting back to a normal pace.

A couple weekends ago our church sponsored a Family Day In The Park. We took Caleb and he had a great time.
