Happy 2nd Birthday

Caleb turned 2 on March 27th (I am a little late posting). We had a fun in the sun, bounce house birthday for our little man. The theme of his party was "Very Hungry Caterpillar" to go along with one of his favorite books. We had lots of friends and family join us to celebrate another year of Caleb Reid.

Braden and I got creative with the decorations. I made the sign and Braden made the two caterpillars below.

Braden found these great cut outs that show the progress of the caterpillar and what he ate each day.

These two love each other. I see wedding bells in the future!

Thank you to everyone who made the day special for Caleb. We love you all :)

Presents Galore

Caleb was a very very lucky little boy because he got present galore from his family and friends. He was quite overwhelmed when the whole day was over.
Uncle Matt & Uncle Barrett bought Caleb a "BIG" gift

This is Caleb seeing it for the first time.

Cousin Micah hitched a ride in the trailer

Caleb was slow opening his presents. He would open one and then want to stop and play with it. He had a hard time understanding that he needed to open all his gifts THEN he could play with them.

Thank you to all our friends and family for making Caleb's day so much fun.

Post Birthday Fun

The day after Caleb's party (which was his actual birthday) we got up early to watch Aunt Bubba & Uncle Matt run in the Dallas Rock & Roll Half Marathon. At mile 8 Jessica had more energy than I did and I had just rolled out of bed. [Sorry Matt - I didn't get you in the picture]
Later that day, Braden was pushing Caleb through the house chasing Lexi.

But at least they would give poor Lexi a treat for playing with them.

Sunday evening my inlaws came over to celebrate my birthday. We had dinner and then my favorite strawberry dessert (compliments of my mom-in-law).

Papa played cars with Caleb. They were adorable sitting on the floor together.
